Springer and catcher interference. Such an iconic duo.

Springer’s throat and the leg of Jazz Chisholm is a less iconic duo.

“Is giving up 8 runs in the last 4 innings bad? Nah…let’s give him the highest leverage pocket of the game in the biggest series of the year.” - John Schneider

In his (sorta) defense most of the bullpen has been garbage lately as well not a lot of good options

Obviously Fluharty was punching way above his weight class the first two months of the season. But his drop off has been swift and brutal. More and more the bullpen has been showing cracks. But also holding somewhat steady. Need Yimi back asap to take the load off some of those guys.

Gritty win all things considered. Hoping the news for both Scherzer and Springer is positive. The atmosphere should be great for the Canada Day tilt tomorrow.

Jays only 2 games back of the Yanks!

What makes it crazier is the Yankees are +112 run differential and the Jays are -3.

Yeah. Difference between winning with pitching/small ball and winning by hitting bombs.

The Yankees first 6 weeks of the season were bananas. Mainly because judge was hitting .450. He's fallen back to earth and so have the Yankees. I wouldn't be surprised to see that run diff tighten up as the season wears on. The Yankees havent been very good lately and theyre showing lots of warts. Perfect time for the Jays to pounce and hopefully win 3 of 4.

I think this guy sang the national anthem at some Flames games. I love how clean and simple he does the anthem. Great voice too.

Ugh. Gausman pitching scared against the big bats causes a couple of runs.

Crappy Gausman makes an appearance. Gonna be a very long day when he sprays the ball around the zone like this. Yankees can just work counts and wait for the pitch and the bullpen got worked yesterday.

Gausman at almost 100 pitches through 5 innings. Been a grind but he’s kept them in the game.

Why would you bring in Bruihl in this spot. You’ve got a full house on Canada Day. Manage to win.

Nice of the blue jays to honour legendary Blue Jay EE in this 7th inning.

Next time go with a parrot or something though please.
