I went to a Marlins game and was bored ####ing ####less while surrounded by hundreds of obese cockwombles. Decided the only thing for it was to get hammered, but the beer was ####ing piss. I felt like the game would go on until ten minutes after the end of time.
Other than that, it was a good night.

I think I lucked out on swelling as it’s not too bad. I sprinted to an ice pack so maybe that helped. Hurts to blink though, and I keep accidentally rubbing it. Little ####er.

Man, watching that Astroworld tragedy during the Travis Scott set on Netflix just burns me up. 10 people dead because A) Travis Scott, as he always had, pushed for chaos and lack of safety at his shows (encouraging fans to rush the gates and storm into the venue and then act as chaotic and out of control as possible), and B) Live Nation as the largest concert promotor in the world basically giving in to Travis Scott and leaning into his chaos atmosphere instead of putting on a safe show for 50k people (Live Nation workers on record saying they were told that Travis likes chaos and to "lean into it"."
What a predictable and preventable tragedy. And to see the two parties responsible (Live Nation and Travis Scott) come out and just act like they each had nothing to do with it when there is clear evidence to the contrary (the show easily should have been stopped by either party) AND to have Houston police ultimately find that no single person was in any way criminally responsible for what happened is so wild and heart breaking.
At least some of these families and fiends that lost loved ones got to tell their story and show the negligence of this festival. "They sold 50000 tickets and there was no way more than 35000 could fit in there....I want this on record that I know this and don't agree with it going forward" - Live Nation employee.
The most sociopathic moment was the video of Travis Scott staring down at a dying fan 20 feet away beside the barricade, that was hurled over the railing by other fans, receiving CPR aggressively and he just kind of watches for a minute then turns back and keeps performing.
Travis is also so full of **** when they explain that his audio guy, who had direct communication into Travis' ear piece had clear information on how serious this was becoming with fans being crushed and medical staff and everyone near the crowd calling for the show to be stopped, at which point the show was not stopped and continued until a later point, and Travis just brushes it off in that interview saying "Nah, I was told to end the show at a certain point and I did".
oh and also people trying to push through to get off the plane.
#### OFF!!!!!!!!
wait your goddamn turn
Loved Vueling in Spain for how they handle this. They announce disembarkation will be by groups of rows (eg 1-5). Flight Attendants police it pretty well, anyone else who stands up is told firmly to sit back down and wait their turn.
People who's regular speaking voice is like 5 times louder than normal people, to the point where literally everyone in a restaraunt/store/public place stop and just listen to that person talking because they literally cant continue their own conversations.

People who talk normally but whenever they are on a phone they talk 5 times louder than normal… by default… wtf. Kills the open office vibe.

I wonder if these types of people even know what they sound like in a public setting? Like do they realize they're 5 times louder to an absurd degree?
My Old roommate was partially deaf, he would always be yell talking. He admitted that he talked so loud because he wanted to hear his own voice. Not sure he knew how loud he was.
It’s more hilarious than a gear grinder but when you’re in your 30s or 40s and can only grow a “western — wide open spaces” beard, you should shave. Saw a guy yesterday whose “beard” was extremely patchy.
