That tiebreaker was embarrassing. Error after error. Just handed Duckworth the set.

Duckworth is playing some pretty good tennis, but he's getting a lot of help from FAA today. There's been no improvement from late 2022, in fact I would say there's been regression in FAA's game. Backhand is still very inconsistent, forehand as well, if he didn't have a top 10 serve, he's probably be outside the top 50 in the rankings.

Holger Rune taking a page out of the FAA playbook as he had a 2 sets to love lead and loses in five sets to Nicolas Jarry.

Felix has forced a 5th set versus Duckworth. Meanwhile, Charlie might have to play a 5th and deciding set versus Fognini.

Okay, Felix plays probably his best return game of the match and breaks Duckworth to go up 2-1 in set 5. Umpire just announced that Duckworth is taking a toilet break and could be issued a point penalty if he's not back in time.
Edit: Make it two point penalties - The Duck must have really had to go potty lol

Alcaraz is in a 5th set against Fognini, can confirm after all this time still dislike Fognini. Why did he always seem to play his best against Nadal, drove me crazy

I just can't bring myself to dislike Fognini, at least he's entertaining as hell. Most of the emotionless drones playing today just don't bring the fun like Fognini can.

Felix survives in five sets and advances to round 2. 26 aces from FAA today.

Tarvet gets Alcarez next. I heard that he can't keep his prize money!

Yogurt contemplating actual retirement if his lower back can't improve. Sunset on another OHBH?

Yeah, at 2-1 in set 5 (Felix serving), James had to run to the toilet which is permitted, but you need to make it back within 90 seconds I believe. He was assessed three time violations, the first is a warning and the next two are point penalties. Felix started that service game at 30-love.

Yeah, he's been battling back issues for some time now, it seems to get better for a spell only to flare up again. He'll be 27 in six weeks time which is not old for tennis by any means (could still have 10 years left), but if surgery isn't an option, you wonder how much longer he might put up with the pain.

Gabriel sends a breadstick to Altmaier. Man, it's fun to see him playing this well.

GMP takes the opener in a tie-break (8-6 was the tie-breaker score).
