I can't understand how the Oilers get a 4th for an unsavoury player and the Flames have to add a 1st to trade away one of the nicest guys to ever lace them up.

Really? A stagnant cap verses a rising one. A GM that panicked. That same GM that panicked is losing another 100 point player. Vancouver is making great decisions also. All said, that's in the past.

Every GM is going to make mistakes, but sometimes they keep making them. Let's watch Conroy here over the next couple seasons and see what happens. He seems like a fairly sharp cat.

Welcome to Vancouver. Not surprised this happened at Pierre's in Yaletown.

I’m sure he was completely innocent and had nothing to do with the outcome.

Maybe a gambling debt? Or he was walking around taking pictures with stacks of 100 dollar bills again.

It’s very small place sometimes gets very crowded and fights and violence are very common. People provoke, bump or bother others. Staff is meah because sometimes they are fresh some times they are tired and don’t give a ####

This place has escorts as servers that you can pay extra to take home. Love this place I check it out every time I come to Vancouver, especially on Sundays they wear provocative lingerie.

Derek is really bad,as a bouncer. You try and be nice and he says no come see terry if you want to go in
Maybe it was Derek or Terry who beat him up.

Where else would he be? Probably teaching the young guys a thing or two (as per the other thread).

He's not an Oiler anymore, watch how quickly the NHL (and fans) turn on him.

Apparently a guy was tweaking hard, swinging at and attacking everyone around him including women.

Kane apparently stepped into try and keep the attacker away from the attacker's own girlfriend who he kept going after. Sucker punched Kane. Kane was then prevented from getting himself in trouble by the people who he was there with.

Apparently the bouncers beat the living #### out of the guy afterwards.

Sounds like just the place a fine upstanding young father (as Oiler fans have described him) like Evander Kane would be hanging out at. I don't doubt that Kane got into legal problems and shady crap during his time with the Oilers, but the Oilers make sure that none of that stuff makes it into the local media. The Oilers control the media message in Stinkville. Remember Kevin Lowe having meeting deep in the bowels of Rexall Place with local media members who weren't putting out the correct message to fans.

According to Oiler fans in the Hockeyfutures site, the NHL is dropping their LTIR investigation. I have no idea why they'd drop it when his trade has nothing to do with an unfair advantage from last season.

Honestly, it's just a Yaletown bar/club that most Vancouverites who go to that area would have been to. When some of the restaurants have to close, people might go there after.
I've been there many times, though not for 5+ years at least.

No idea if Kane did anything wrong here, but not that alarming he was at this place; especially in the off season.
