Harris out. Rourke likely out. Alexander likely out. Kelly out.
50% of the QBs playing in week 4 are backups. Luke Wilson gonna be losing his mind if he thought last week was bad.

Yeah what is with all the injuries this year? It is really starting to take away from some potentially great games.

Who had Jake Maier being the better QB in this game on their bingo card? I know I didn't.

Did Masoli lay down a fortune betting on the Riders tonight. He has been brutal!

The two rookie head coaches in this league this season will have a combined record of 1-6 after tonight's action.

I don't know why they keep bringing back Benevides as DC, his defenses haven't been good for the last decade or so. Riders have close to 160 yards rushing on the night, if you can't stop the run, you're in trouble.

I was thinking the same thing while watching the Riders run through his defense like a hot knife through butter. I get that he's been with the Lions for a long time in a variety of roles but if it didn't work before why go back? A big problem for this league is the amount of chances bad veteran coaches and GM's receive. The Elks keep hiring Ed Hervey to build bad teams. Would anyone be surprised if/when LaPolice resurfaces on a team?

I think we’ll get a really good idea of the pecking order in the CFL over the next few weeks. Stamps vs bombers next week. Riders vs stamps the week after. And riders vs Als the week after that.
Last year we saw the riders were a clear step below the bombers. Stamps look like they’ve improved a lot. Bombers look like they’re still contenders. Hard to tell with Als without a QB at the moment.

Hard to say about the Stamps as last weekend they looked a lot like the team that's had a losing record the last few seasons. Looks like the Riders and Bombers are clearly a level above the rest of the west.

For the most part outside of the Rider and Bombers, none of the teams look good, the football so far this year to me has been really poor, And I get it takes time for teams to find a offensive playbook that works. But this is the year of the checkdown.
The Stamps defense has been excellent, but Vernon has yet to look really comfortable in this offense. I get last week was a monsoon, but he looked a step behind his receivers decision making.

You kind of wonder about the Dickenson offense if it's stale and antiquated. QB's change but it hasn't been very good since prime Bo.

They don’t roll Vernon out at all. It’s baffling. You got an agile QB who can rip the ball downfield on the run and you have him getting molested with poor protection.
They hardly run any college option plays either.
No passing touchdown for 3 games in the CFL is pretty bad.

Agreed.
Its like their still playing gunshy with Maier behind the line. I know Mills is a good RB but let Vernon really push the field and go for the TD's
