Happy they decided to add some RHS depth to the roster. My only want was one of the two first round picks was a RHS C.

Watched some highlights. Anybody know why he wears a full cage in the OHL?

Might have something to do with the fact that he played games in the OHL part-time, while still being a member of St. Andrew's College- perhaps an overlap of the rules?

I honestly think there is some strategy going on with that pick. He is good friends with Potter. Might be easier to convince a US college kid to sign in Canada if his buddy is in the same organization.

The 3rd round and beyond is a crapshoot, may as well show one of your prized picks how important you view him within the organization.

They did something similar last year by inviting Zayne's brother to development camp.

All call ups I have ever seen in the OHL from junior A wear the full cage.
