Not much room for him but i would've been fine with re-upping Mantha. Seems like a guaranteed 20 goals if healthy.

He was on pace for a decent season, if not for injuries they could have got something for him at the deadline. I give Conroy credit for that signing even though it didn't work out.

Yup Conroy letting the market know he isn’t on a firm timeline.
From what the insiders are saying I think teams are going to step up and make the right offer for the player and he is gone before the end of Stampede at the very latest

A one dimensional scoring winger that had a career year based on the highest 5v5 shooting percentage in NHL history is not where I wanted this team to focus spending assets.

Yeah, this is Conroy saying 'we don't have to trade him, and it isn't a fire sale' but he is 100% being traded
As for Andersson's value, if a savvy GM thinks about it, he can get a RHS, 1st/2nd pair Dman, for as little as $2.3M this season, who's motivated for both a contract year and a one-time shot at the Olympics. A guy who cares, has swagger, is great in the room, and consistently puts up about 40 pts.
He is worth a good price.

Yup this sounds like Connie letting everyone know that if they want Ras they're going to have to step up the offers. I still expect him to be gone in the next week or so, but if they gotta hold him longer to get their price then so be it.
