Doan won't move the needle much for the Sabres offense and Kesselring will not help improve the Sabres at all. Certainly not defensively. All Kesselring has is a hard shot and that's it.

No, I disagree. Bahl and Kesselring are pretty equivalent, both towering young D still just cutting their teeth in the league. Doan and Battaglia are big right wingers and recent second-round picks; Doan is older but has already played in the league and done well. That would be the closest to an equivalent package from algary.

Probably not, Kesselring is a righty and Doan is younger than Pospisil with far less injury history

The issue is that the Flames only have so many high value trade chips. You cannot trade Andersson for a C if you trade him for a W and the priority has to be a C.
