Re-watching The Bear to prep for Season 4. This is my third re-watch (once by myself, once to introducte the wife to it, and now we're re-watching together). Still very enjoyable the third time around. Love watching the different character arcs start to develop more and more. And I'm reminded how good the music soundtrack is.
Will the Bear 4 be available on Disney right away?
I'd never given Poker Face a chance but recently saw it described as an unofficial Colombo reboot which it totally is. Unfortunately it's also a reboot of early 80s mystery of the week pacing. These hour long episodes could easily be half that and get the story across. As the first season progresses does it find its feet or should I bail now?

I bailed partway through S1
Made it to the racing car episode I think

Watched "Fishes" episode last night. Easily in my top 5 TV episodes of all time.
Spoiler!
The tension, and chaos, and madness just builds and builds until it explodes. Jamie Lee Curtis is so good.

Tires on Netflix is damn good. Shane Gillies is hilarious but Steve Gerben as Will so such a good character. The chemistry between the two and the rest of the cap is fantastic..but man Will is just so funny. I've seen interviews with both Gerbin and Gillies and they're obviously really good buddies and no wonder they're so good together in the series.

Soooo...I don't recommend a lot of TV shows because I often think it comes down to taste.
But.
I have to recommend this series that Netflix is producing on the classic novel by Gabriel Garcia Marquez titled 100 Years of Solitude. It's an epic tale spanning 4-5 generations of the Buendia family in a style commonly referred to as "magical realism", meaning the vast majority of events are realistic, but there is an occasional magical event mixed in, but is treated as totally normal.
It's an incredibly unique and beautiful story, and I believe it's worth your time. It's a 2 part limited series totalling 16 episodes. Part 1 was released last December. Part 2 is being produced as we speak and will likely come out this year.
You will get confused hearing the names "Jose" "Arcadio" "Aureliano" and "Buendia" being thrown around constantly over the generations, but trust me, each version of the name is unique and interesting. A fascinating theme about fate, repeated patterns, lust, intellectual curiosity, folly and fallibility, feeling lost, ennui etc.
I could go on, but I would probably ruin it for you. I would say "read the book", but it's a bit of a taxing read due to the style of non-stop exposition mixed with poetic license, and almost ZERO dialogue throughout a very long book. It's not an easy or quick read.
This is just part 1.
