With the rising cap and star players hitting free agency I wonder if we start seeing more player movement and shorter contracts with guys teaming up.
Seeing Marner might do a 2 year deal. Lebrun says he believes McDavid will do a short term deal. They could both hit free agency at the same time and team up.
Marchand picking one of Bostons biggest rivals. I wonder if these tournaments are creating friendships with some of these guys.
Player movement is fun.

Also if Ekblad is gone, that may open up Andersson to FLA.
I don't do it for anything less than Lundell though.
Fully retained Razz to replace Ekblad at 2.5m for a season and a three-peat? That's some wizardry right there.

Been reported Buffalo doesn't want futures or prospects. They want players that can help them right away.

Jackets have the ammo and space to make a flurry of moves to get better. Plus I cringe to think what Marner could do with Monahan. Don't think you want Marner and Johnson together. But Marner and Monny or Fantilli?? That'd be solid.

So we do similar to that Robertson trade and do a 3 way with Buffalo and Chicago. 3rd works for me too. Then swap with San Jose if they want Frondell

It would be classic Flames to pull something like this off, get the 2nd pick, and then the Islander's take Misa first overall. Not that I wouldn't love to see a Parekh/Schaefer pairing.
