I’m not sure Robertson is 100pt player on the Flames, that’s my biggest worry.
I would still prefer a 1st and prospect for Andersson which we can use to trade up (hopefully) and get one of the big name centers.

I’m just not sure with how many teams are all trying to get into that top 10 that it’s going to be easy if at all. But I’ll keep dreaming.

Teams trade star wingers for lots of reasons. The Avs traded theirs. Calgary traded theirs. Probabkly for the same reason Dallas did - to get ahead of the contract expiry. Robertson's ends next off season. He's making $7.7 now and I bet he wants 2-3M more.

Correct, plus Dallas has serious cap issues, and needs to save cap somewhere.

What has Robertson done in the playoffs? The guy plays scared and pretty much disappears whenever it matters. But he's good in the regular season.

Pretty much the last thing we need. A player to make us finish higher, but keep us never good enough to win a cup.

I think he does have more to prove in the playoffs, but I also think he has the skills to do it. 2 out if last 3 playoffs have been pretty much a PPG. Trading Robertson could be the same type of blunder as Tkachuk and Rantanen.

Think what you want, but I am a first time user on this site. I learned about this forum through a friend group chat about a year ago. I frequented from time to time to view some of the discussions, and attempted to sign up numerous times with no luck. Only when I provided my phone number was I accepted, which happened like a week ago.

Because Tkachuk went to a team with Barkov. Rantanen was with MacKinnon and it’s yet to be seen what he can do without a #1C. He had 17 of his 21 points in 5 games.

Robertson is soft and you don’t notice him in a way you do with other wingers. I can set the impact of a Marner or Chucky.

The team was carried by Iggy and Johnny after. Probably why we have had little success.

If there was a way to execute a 3-way trade as suggested earlier or swap Robertson+ to move into the top 5, I'd say that would be perfect. I think it will be too hard to move into top 5 otherwise.

I just read your post history and it seems like all you've done so far is act like a disagreeable Spurs to some really wonderful posters here.
