Here are a couple of excerpts that I could find that mention Reschnys skating. Seems like he skates at, likely, an above average level. Most of whats out there is that his skating is a strength and he will get around the ice just fine. Other than being 5'10 (180lb) he is everything we are looking for in a C at 18.
Corey Pronman - The Athletic - June 10th: "He's not the most dynamic skater for a guy his size, but he will be able to move at an NHL level. He's on the smaller side, but Reschny can create at the net and kill penalties. He's played center in junior, showing a diligent two-way game."
Adam Kimelman - NHL.com - June 9th: "Reschny's speed and tenacity make him an appealing prospect. The 18-year-old is committed to play at the University of North Dakota next season, which should help him continue to add strength and develop his skills against older competition."
Steven Ellis - Daily Faceoff - May 27th: "Reschny’s ability to produce no matter the situation makes him so intriguing. He’s not huge, but he makes up for it with explosive speed and elusiveness, making him a tough player to contain on the rush. He’s an outstanding playmaker, maybe one of the best in this class."
Jason Bukala - Sportsnet - March 26th: "He will eventually add more strength to his frame, which will lead to more of an interior game. But for now, he relies on his speed and skill to push opponents off their blue line when he is coming through the neutral zone."

Sandman prob better insight on his chances of playing C at next level - think he might think of him as a winger but I'd be ok with a Hagel clone at this stage of the draft in this kind of draft class...

I believe Bear has been playing mostly on the wing this year, and many predict that will continue into the NHL. I think he could be developed at C, though.

Regarding Reschny, he is by no means a poor skater. He isn’t a burner either, but I don’t see his speed as much of a weakness.

Yes, specifically haddock. There's an older gentleman with a fish and chips truck in Halifax that has both language's on his menu. he serves up awesome deep fried grub.
I have his menu.
Haddock = Pesce
Halibut = Ippoglosso
Scallops = Capesante
French fries = patate fritte

Sorry to sidetrack but Pesce is fish in general not specifically Haddock.

If we get 14, good chance we can get one of the upper tier guys if there is slippage (which there always is).

Bear is the guy I watching and want to see slip.
For that to happen you need at least a couple of D to move up. And D often go higher in the real draft than any public lists.

I suspect all the Cs, down to Bear, will be gone by 14 - I think you'd have to get higher.

Here's Jiri's mock, designed to get Bear to Calgary.
1. NYI: Schaefer
2. SJ: Misa
3. Chicago: Frondell (could see Martone here)
4. Utah: Martin
5. Nashville: Hagens
6. Philly: Desnoyers
7. Boston: Marton
8. Seattle: Jake O'Brien
9. Buffalo: Martka
10. Anaheim: Jackson Smith
11. Pittsburgh: McQueen
12. NYR: Aicheson
13. Detroit: Eklund
14. CBJ: Lakovic
15. Vancouver: Cameron Reid
16. Montreal: Carbonneau
17. Montreal: Hensler
18. Calgary: Bear
That's how Bear gets to Calgary. (I doubt it happens)
