Only two guys could hit a fairway on the back nine and they finished 1 and 2. Good for Spaun, he really handled the pressure when no one else could. He has a great swing.

Links golf is always an equalizer for the older dudes/shorter hitters, can use the driving iron and still crank it 300+ with the roll outs. Looking like it should be a solid watch, and since I just said that here comes the Scottie win by 5+.

I could only catch a little of this today but the course seems really interesting. That is a very bunched leaderboard which sometimes means the course is not identifying the best golfers. It's still very early but the winner is going to have to stay very close to the lead I imagine.
Looking forward to waking up early this weekend to watch.
Bryson and Reed are done. A few other big names like Morikawa will have to go very low tomorrow to stay in it.

Bryson is, in fact, not done. He shot 65 so will probably make the cut. Feels like all recent Opens, if the wind isn't a factor this isn't a particularly tough course. Which should make for a fun weekend, hopefully.

Not quite over, but if Scottie is gonna be the best putter of the week then it's probably over lol. As long as that terrorist Brian Harman shoots 80 tomorrow so we don't have to see any of his shots Sunday, it's all good.
