Radar looks much better now than it did 20 minutes ago. Still looks pretty gnarly north of Calgary between Balzac and Carstairs though.

Got a fairly good dumping of rain in Airdrie so far. Lots of noise & flashing but no hail, thankfully.

We got a solid crack of thunder, decent amount of rain, and now it's pretty calm.
Did see someone's two patio cushions land in front of my dry cleaner in Eau Claire though.

Got a bit of rain while leaving the golf course in Nanton. Got home to High River and there was none.

20mm Friday. 50-75mm Saturday. That’s a lot of rain in 2 days.
And more warnings of hail for today. Could be a fun week.

At least we won't have to worry about flooding from the mountains. Low river levels later in the summer might be in the cards. My post from last year with all the graphs shows many areas that had 2+m last year have nothing:

It appears the local residents have begun building something very Ark-like...

We're camping in Nakusp, up at the hot springs. It's absolutely pouring.
Not very cold though, and very "misty eye of the mountain" gorgeous.
