Conroy said he isn’t just going to add bodies. Unless Dallas can pry a 1st from another team can’t see them as a partner.

Did see that Buffalo isn’t looking for futures. They want a RHD and Petkera and Byram are likely on the way out.
Sharangovich and Andersson for those 2 is a hockey trade that makes us younger. Just can’t see Andersson waiving.

Well they could still trade it, couldn’t they? Their 2026 first would just become unprotected and automatically transfer to the Canes. Unless there’s a clause in there somewhere about that (or something in the CBA I’m unaware of…)

I think the canes have try agree to that. Taking off protection for a roster shedding players and sending another 1st to shed salary. Seems like awful work.

26 and 28 belong to Carolina top 10 protected. 27 and 29 are in the conditions as well.
So until seasons end 27 is tied up.
