Well at least we have a QB who can play with a depleted wr corps. If we had Maier we would be in trouble.

The Stamps used 1st round picks on Philpot and Alford so this is the time to recoup on that investment.

Hopefully it's a bronze casting of Bret Michaels bandana!

Dru Brown has been listed as out for Saturday's game versus the Stamps. Stamps for the 2nd week in a row facing a backup QB.

What's the stampede bowl, and why is it being contested on July 3rd? Against the Bombers?

The Stamps don’t play at home during stampede. This year they will and are calling it the stampede bowl.

Stop me if you've heard this previously, but Edmonton is no good.
Edit: Davis Alexander might have pulled a hammy, MBT now in for Montreal.

Tre Ford made a couple of nice deep throws that caught the Als napping, but overall his body of work last night was not great. If things don't improve and the Elks continue to lose, I can see Fajardo starting by Labour Day.

He's always been good at accumulating garbage time stats when defenses go prevent but he's still more athlete than passer.
Remember how 3rd down nation was all over Dave for letting go of Killam and Monson insinuating that they were scapegoated? Well they aren't exactly proving Dickenson or Stamps fans wrong that they were part of the problem.

It was a perplexing decision by Kilam last night when the Elks scored a TD to cut the lead to 18 points not to go for the 2 point conversion and make it a two score game. It didn't matter last night, but I would be curious to know the thought process that went into that decision.

I was reading that the paid attendance for the Als - Elks game last night was 14,389. I don't even think there was 5,000 people actually there to watch the game.
