Rock solid source for a player with another year left on his contract and his intentions. Give your head a shake lollll
Let him pretend to be an insider lol. I swear he said the same thing about Draisaitl before he signed with the Oilers.

the way the Panthers handled that game 4 collapse is just so impressive. That could absolutely break a team, yet they turned the page and completely dominated them for the next 120 minutes. Just such a team effort, too ... people have been talking about Bennett or Marchand for the Conn Smythe, but then you also have Reinhart scoring a hattrick in game 6, Chucky being Chucky, Barkov being an outstanding leader, Luostarinen being a playoff beast and so, so many more.

Basically, a deep and complete team smothered a two pony show ... just the way it should be. Those West teams should really a) hang their heads in shame (looking at you specifically, Dallas) and b) take notes. We needed Florida to save us from hell twice now, and that's not how it should be.

Don’t forget Bobrovsky shutting the door.

They are a complete team. Well built with a lot of depth.

Oilers are the Harlem Globetrotters on ice.

You would be wrong. I said I wouldn't be surprised if Draisaitl looked at other options unless the Oilers overpay and then I threw out a number to keep him that was pretty much what he got. Let you pretend you are not some useless troll though and not a returning banned poster. Now go flip to your other profile and say something stupid as usual. You are the worst poster in this board and it isn't remotely close.

Guy's got more sources than the NHL has players.

Let's see in a year. Ya, the same Pissy that when he signed his dream and asked about McDavid's next contract he said "Connor's gotta do what's best for Connor". Then he said at the start of this year it's Stanley Cup or bust, so did McDavid. They know they have a very short window together before McDavid leaves. And yes, the source is absolutely rock solid, not sure what a year out has to do with it. So maybe give your head a shake.

When this insider game started you had one person you knew that wss connected in some way, probably a relative. Now years later you have books and calls on all potential transactions. Getting to be a bit much and a little obvious.

It's fun though!

Back to bashing the Oilers. They would have looked a lot better with Holloway, Broberg, and McLeod lol

I hate to say a team making it to the finals for 2 years in a row is luck, but seriously, their first two round opponents didn't show up. There were better teams that didn't live up to their potential again, and the Oilers capitalized. It was an entertaining final, but this was bound to happen. Edmonton will always have these problems with so much cap tied to so few. Next year is really dependent on goaltending. There are no surefire UFA goaltenders they can throw money at, so a draft pick for a goaltender has to be their priority. How will that work out with holes on defence? Will they throw everything out there for Conor's last year?

One of my favorite parts is how the media was talking about this was going to be the closest and most exciting finals ever. That narrative sure changed with the final two games

McDavid is gonna demand in his next contract that they get an NHL caliber goalie next year cause he knows they can't win with either of their 2 AHL goalies.

Good morning.

It is June 18th and the Oilers are not Stanley Cup champions.

All is well.

The sun, out here in the North Okanagan, is just a bit brighter, the sky a bit clearer and I’m STILL so happy I could scream!!

Post-game handshake line: did ANYONE stop McAvi to chat for any length of time at all? Asking for my wife who noticed this…
