I can't believe it. Going from being a 3rd line grinder on the Flames, to a back-to-back Stanley Cup winner and winning the Conn Smythe Finals MVP Award is an amazing turn-around.
The Flames screwed up this talent big time.

The Bennett trade was terrible, but at least he helped stop the Oilers from winning the cup twice. Always nice when there's a silver lining

Over 90% of winners are in or will be when retired (Kane, Crosby, Ovechkin etc) and the majority that arent are all goalies.
Id lean towards no still but hes got alot of career left and winning a Conn Smythe puts you in pretty rarified air.
