Just took delivery of our 2025 RAV4 hybrid. We love it. It’s the most beautiful blue — and it’s a Toyota. I love Toyotas. I look forward to using all of the features, compared to our feature-less 2009 RAV.

Dude, you try it once, you're gonna love having power windows that go up/down with one press.

I am so freaking confused. I thought you gave yp on the Rav4 and were all in on a Subaru?

My weekend research caused me to change my mind. I’m allowed.

Except when your trying to stop it at a specific height. I still have no feel for the switch in my truck and I look like a kid playing with the window sometimes.

Don't be so hamfisted with the switches.

Partial push/pull = no auto
Full push/pull = auto

Also the joke was the biggest new feature to look forward to going from a 2009 RAV4 to a current model year one is the power windows.

Can anyone recommend a good shop for diagnosing and fixing an A/C problem? We've had a few goes at fixing a leaking A/C system at a few different shops and nobody seems to be able to find the actual problem.

City wide radiator did good work for me at a reasonable price on an AC job.

I have a 2014 Mazda 3 sport and the head lights are not working. Replaced the blubs. Daytime running lights work, and when I "flash" the high beams they work but they don't work when I turn on the high beams. The low beams don't work at all. Any thoughts?

I've had to "reboot" a Mazda to fix lighting issues. That one was four way flashers coming on randomly or something. Try disconnecting the battery for a minute.

Could also be a dodgy switch.

First thought is fuse or a relay.

If the fuses and relays are good but lights are misbehaving, it could be the relay board or smart junction box as some manufacturers like Ford refer to it.

Checked the fuses and replaced the relay switch thingy. Still a problem. It now sounds expensive haha

I've seen vehicles with European plates on the front as a novelty thing. I assume you can't have plates from other provinces or US States used this way, but are those European ones legal?

Time to start chasing the power wires, checking the headlight switch...and the grounds (cant forget the ground, cause no ground means the circuit is incomplete even if the power wire has voltage)

Seeing more of these primer grey/putty/matte/muted colors on vehicles. Not sure what it is about them but they seem so ugly and lifeless as a result.

They remind me of plumbers putty or an incomplete clay car model. Maybe just me though.

For some reason, new car buyers love boring ass colours. Whites, blacks, and greys -- dark and light. I don't get it either.

Primer gray has to be one of the worst.

If I have to get a white truck or something I'd probably get some vinyl coloured stripes or something just to make it a little less boring. Maybe a flaming chicken for the hood?

Flaming chicken?? Has Tom Green taught you nothing? You know what you need on that hood.
