Cheap shots from the Panthers?
Walman feeding Tkachuk while he is being held by another Oiler, Walman punching Lundell after Nurse cross checked him, the nut shot stick lift by Perry on Forsling after an offside, hacks to the back of the legs, breaking a stick on Bennett on the third cross check … just off the top of my head and it doesn’t end there
Jeez even last round Nurse fracture bones in Hintz’s foot with a chop on the laces. No consequence.
Then all the diving by 29 and 97, who are very strong on their skates some of the time, and amazingly easy to take down at other times, McDavid grabbing Marchand’s stick and holding it until he gets a call… Draisaitl gets held but the guys hands and stick were near his head but made no contact with his face, so he stops and checks for blood
These guys are cheap and shameless in many many ways, all game, every game
Panthers played a hard game of good hockey. It’s been fun to watch. Quite honestly they have been on the end of weak calls, that were makeups, just because of game management, where the Oilers have had penalties that should be called, like sticks in guys faces, having 7 guys on the ice, put the puck over the glass
And you have a problem with cheap shots by the Panthers, think the league needs to look at them ?
####ing kidding me?
Edmonton is behaving the way that Vancouver behaved, which ended up giving Marchand carte blanche to feed a Sedin about 7 short punches to the chin
The league is conflicted because their poster boy is at the heart of it
