Yeah I was in Prague when that happened. That clip was on all over the place. We went to the MickeyDs there out of curiosity, as it was fascinating to see the Czechs all dressed up to go there. That’s where we saw it first.
Then again at the little pub, and at KMart Maj; it was everywhere. Couldn’t escape Murica.
Funny this should come up as I sold my Bronco (same 93 as the Bronco chase) last week. The buyer was a guy in his 20s who was pretty obsessed with it. Glad it has a good home.

Tesla has announced that it now offers interest-free loans on the Cybertruck until the end of the month. The move is the equivalent of a roughly $10,000 discount and shows that Tesla has reached a new level of desperation in trying to sell the Cybertruck.
As we recently reported, Tesla has virtually given up on delivering Autopilot on Cybertrucks – pushing many buyers toward its more expensive FSD package.
Now, Tesla is doubling down on the strategy by subsidizing financing with FSD.
https://electrek.co/2025/06/05/tesla...-discount-yet/
Its a huge mystery why folks aint buying the nazi trucks...
And as an aside, I would buy a 93 Bronco...maybe not a white one...

I have a great memory of my buddy and I hanging out at our rugby club's clubhouse.
Drinking beer, shooting pool and doing a running commentary on that "chase"
Good simple times

$TSLA is bouncing back today. I am reminded of my buddy who is a Tesla owner, stockholder, and fanboy. He was explaining how he thinks Musk is taking drugs that he is invented himself, that make him smarter. So his drug habit is actually a good thing. He will sell when the stock reaches $1000. Maybe.

Did you throw in the complimentary Driving Gloves and make sure they fit prior to sale?

It amazes me these people would rather tank markets to the tune of 100's of billions than give up an extra few percentage points in taxes. Like, how is that efficient? Instead of using utility for things, let's just wipe it out.

Robotaxi launch delayed at least 10 days. Original launch was for tomorrow, but I guess safety issues are holding them back? Ya, I'm sure after 10 years of work on it they'll have that solved in 10 days.
It'll be interesting to see how many days after launch before half the fleet(10 cars I've heard) is on fire. Given how people feel about Elon, I'm not sure how that isn't the most likely outcome. I wonder how realistic the tele-operator rigs are. Will they burst into flames, too?

I believe the 'super paranoid' part...

They don't actually care about safety, they care about the stock price crashing every time one of their cars does. Tesla has been built on FSD and the AI future. If their car still can't do what they have tried to get it to do for 10 years, real doubts will materialize into reality.
Can they? Well, that's the question, because they haven't released a new FSD version for 6 months, and the thinking from the bullish is they have put all their work into the robo-taxi. So if they do not do what has been promised, it's gonna be devastating. That they had to delay it for 10 days due to safety issues, well, it's kinda telling.

Fuzz, when was the last time you experienced FSD? I’d like to take you for a spin so you can experience it first hand and ask any questions you might have.

You shall note, I never said anything about 'safety' I simply acknowledged that I believe the 'paranoia' part.
Musk is essentially a drugged out lunatic who is getting pretty damned close to Howard Hughes 'peeing in jars' territory.

November. my brother tried to hide all it's mistakes, while telling me how he rarely has to intervene. I had a good view from the uncomfortable back seat. But that's all irrelevant anyway, it's anecdotal, as would any experience with you be. When you look at the data, you can see it's not good enough.
https://teslafsdtracker.com/Main
So I'll make sure HW4 is selected, and just the newest versions, say 13.2.6 and up. For a robotaxi you are mostly city driving, and we can see they only do 238 miles before critical disengagement, and only 28 to a normal DE. Now, I don't know about you, but if I were a passenger in a vehicle that had a critical safety issue every 238 miles, I'd never get in it. You have 10 taxis, and on average any one of them will have a CDE is 23.8 miles. Would you invest your money in a robotaxi service that promised that kind of reliability?
Now, you can say they are improving, and that's true. But the last percentages are the hardest to achieve, so you have to pick a point where it is safe enough, but not perfect. They think they are near that. I don't know what number they have in mind, but it sure isn't 97%.
It's easy enough to find plenty of videos of the newest version doing unsafe things. Until that changes, the best description is still "It's absolutely incredible and almost perfect, until it tries to kill you." As another road user, that's not really reassuring.

People with the risk tolerance to sit behind the wheel of a FSD Tesla scare me. Like that's just bat#### crazy imo.
It's literally "Jesus take the wheel!" And hope for the best.

I’m not against EV. Far from it. If Tesla owners want respect, they should be pushing for Elon’s removal. Any $ you are making in shares is dirty.
