At this point Hughes is the better hockey player overall when healthy but Norris voting is often a lot about counting stats, and they'd likely have ended up pretty close in points but Makar scored 30 goals from the blue line, which has happened twice in 30 years. He probably wins regardless just for that.

Disagree. Hughes is better at one thing, but Makar is the better all-around player.
