If I wanted good for me, I’d have some broccoli. This is pizza, cheese it up, extra grease.

Have to say, BP's pizza has become the most overpriced for what you get pizza in Calgary. Its priced premium but never seems to have much for toppings or sauce.

All that said, The Perogy pizza is the absolute best thing there, it really is quite good. I hate that I have to go to BP's to get it. Does anyone else do a pizza like this?

You feel bad after two slices? I’m ashamed to say how many slices I can eat. 10” pizza - get in my belly. Large pizza - six to eight slices, get in my belly.

Greek pizza is the best. Thick saucy with topping and cheese and crispy. Not that floppy half ass ####.

The Tavern in Deerfoot Meadows does Detroit style. I haven't tried the others referenced, so can't compare. I really like it, but can't do it too often. I feel pretty 'salted' after indulging.

Based on the description of the symptoms, sounds like authentic Detroit style.

I have not tried their pizza, but can confirm it is a hidden gem! The place is steady virtually every night of the week. Great place to drag the kids along and let them bowl while you eat/drink, play pool or darts.

Do air fryers reheat pizza well?

Air frying is the best way to revive leftover pizza! No more soggy crust or dry, burnt pizza. Learn my foolproof method to reheat pizza in the air fryer and get a perfectly crispy crust, and ooey, gooey melted cheese in a matter of minutes. You'll never reheat pizza in the microwave or oven again!

Wait there is bowling there too? How does every community not have one of these. I am going to go watch some of the oilers game tomorrow and order the pizza. The GF has pickleball so I will to research while she plays.

I don’t stop eating pizza when I’m full. I stop when I hate myself

Tried this out for the first time today. 3-4 minutes for two slices at 350 degrees did a great job. Some of the grease penetrates the bread, so it's not totally like fresh pizza but much better than the microwave.

Air fryers are basically just little convection ovens. Whether air fryer or actual oven, both methods are so much better than a microwave for reheating pizza (and pretty much everything else).

Because we typically get thicker Greek-style pizza and I prefer a really crispy bottom crust, I find the air fryer can make it tricky to get the right crisp on the bottom crust and still adequately reheat the cheese and toppings, without completely drying out the, um, crust crust.

The air fryer's super easy and generally gets about 80% of the ideal result, but if I feel like putting a little more effort into it (seems strange to type that when referring to leftover pizza), the best method is in a frying pan...

Add pizza slices, turn on burner medium high. Once the bottom starts crisping, add a splash of water around the edge (so it doesn't contact the crust and ruin the newly achieved crispness) and cover with a lid... The steam reheats the toppings and perfectly melts the cheese into gooey greatness. Roughly the same time and slightly more effort, but for my preferences, achieves a better-than-fresh-take out result.
