The agent is a dope for how he handled it, but Bayern bring up a point here. If he was subbed off due to injury, how did Canada not realize it was this serious of an injury?

Question is if he was injured in the 3rd place game or before the game.

Starting to appreciate Jonathan David even more. Just as critical to the national team, doesn't miss time with injury, less club drama, has played a good game for Canada since October 2021.

That is the key part of this to me, everything else is just noise caused by an insane agent.

It's been said earlier in the thread, the scape goats of this systematic drone use has been identified as Preistmen and her crew at the Olympics because it was so high profile.

Herdman just as culpable probably but obviously not as blatant. Moreso, he has alot more dirt on various people and actions to do with the CSA, so he agrees to exit stage left quietly, including TFC, to help the CSA sweep this under the rug with him.

Sounds like Bayern are dropping their beef with the CSA over the Alphonso Davies injury. So now they can't sue the federation into bankruptcy. Or even more into bankruptcy...

Good opportunity to give some of the depth or younger players a look against a good opponent. Really interested in seeing the David / David combo up top.

Canada up 3-0 with the first half almost being complete.

The Davids with the goals so far. Jonathan David with 2 and Promise David with 1

De Fougerolles looks very impressive at the back. Saliba calm and composed in central mid. Buchanan looks more like his old self. Crepeau with a good save.

Promise David isn't great technically but is an absolute unit physically and just seems to command the ball. Feels like Jonathan David has been anonymous but has a brace somehow.

Ends up 4-2. Ukraine get 2 goals in the last few minutes.
