I love Bear, but I dont think it makes sense to move up using both picks to take a LW.

The Flames are also not in Playoffs or Bust mode...

the proposed trade is bad enough, but this:

The Flames are in playoffs or bust mode

really takes the cake.

the author obviously also doesn't understand that you're not drafting for current needs. You're not expecting a mid 1st to play right away, those guys will need a couple of years. This isn't the NFL.

Pretty sure that's a fake/joke tweet... in an interview at the combine he said there wasn't really a guy he modeled his game after, though he liked watching Makar, Heiskanen, and Tanev.

Search up similar tweets with the same joke and he also models his game after Logan Stanley, Ceci, Hamonic, etc.

if you can get him in round 2, sure. But with all the noise, I'd be disappointed even if we took him at 32.

Here is the million dollar question, would you trade 18 for Rossi? Providing someone unexpected doesn't slide to 18 I think I would. Your odds of getting a player as impactful as Rossi at 18 are pretty remote.

I'd prefer 32 and something else, but yeah, I'd trade 18 for Rossi. But I want an Austrian on the Flames, so I'm biased.

I doubt minny takes 18 straight up for Rossi unless they have an upgrade lined up.

Would be highly questionable if the just gave him away for pick 18.

Yeah. I'm a bit infatuated with Reschny at 18, and think he has decent upside, but that would be a good trade to make.

Rossi is on a really positive trajectory and sounds like he could be locked up for long term at a fairly reasonable dollar amount for his upside.
