"Yup! Nice town!"

"No problems with filming in Edmonton?"

"Nothing wrong with the technology?"

"No, it's a modern town"

"How about the control room, anything wrong with the control room?"

"Control room...?"

They got color TV last year.

Thanks for sharing, this was great!

Letterman: "Tell me about doing the show from Edmonton."

Candy: "We're notorious for selling out to the lowest bidder. We ended up there."

I enjoyed that just before this part, Candy gave a shout-out Queensville, ON where he's from. Fun fact, my aunt and uncle lived across the road from them there (still do) and they were very good friends with the Candys.

Ironically Connor McDavid grew up nearby in Newmarket so there are sadly a lot of Oiler fans in the vicinity these days.

It’s weird that Bar Trove would open June 6 when all the WAGs, including Lauren McDavid are all in Greece for Leon’s fiancé’s bachelorette party.

They always have been. IIRC, in 1986 they dumped garbage on Perry Berezan’’s parents’ front lawn when the Flames were beating the Oilers in the playoffs

I've seen text messages (first hand from my family members phone) from Stuart Skinners mom confirming these happened in prior years as well.

These people are horrible.

Imagine those scumbags getting to celebrate a world title they don’t deserve it. They deserve to suffer.

I don't know why players might change their agents so there could be other reasons, but if he was unhappy with that contract, he didn't need to sign it. It was fair money for what he did up until then and short enough. There is no way that he would have popped in Edmonton.

I would suggest that he would not have signed that same contract to stay in Edmonton. I think he was unhappy with the organization and felt he could get a better opportunity elsewhere.

As to why he could change, we could brainstorm plenty of plausible reasons that don't necessarily relate to him being unhappy with his current contract.

We all get the inference, that he made a terrible mistake by making loads more money now and over the tenure of his career, and it was all bad advice. Zero proof of that though. Zero facts.

Except that players change agents all of the time and for various reasons. It could be literally any reason!

Spector: because oilers. And call the supervisor.
