It kind of reminds me of the protests during COVID where people were upset with Police Brutality and the Cops decided to just double-down.

This s*** with ICE is only gonna get worse, and the protests will only increase in scope. I'm guessing it's only a matter of time before Trump does something really dumb and heinous like ordering the shooting of peaceful protesters. Things are about to turn really ugly down there.

No need to use hyperbole and compare to Nazis, but what really pisses me off about this situation is the excuse of just following orders from above. It happens in society too, where you just do the job you're told. What about morals? Do these people not think about those families affected? Just doing what your role is, is so 1940s Germany. People really have to think for themselves and not do something that is immoral.

The thing is, the people that do come to their senses drop out instead of turning to fight, and it just leaves these entities (congress, police, judiciary, law firms) with the people either willing to bend or zealous believers.

Apparently the DUI hire, Hegseth, said active duty Marines at Camp Pendleton were put on alert and could be used.
Some dubious legality going on.

I found some local LA news folks online, there isnt any actual protests or confrontations currently going on. It takes time to mobilize the NG.
So, its tomorrow that the **** hits the fan...probably, maybe or not.
