Sinner isn't even serving all that great today and Novak is still unable to get a break point despite playing some great tennis.

Jannik Sinner is one of the few guys that makes Novak look 38 years old.

Okay, Novak has life as Sinner blinks serving for set 2.
Edit: Djokovic unable to consolidate though. That's a real shot to his hopes.

Is it just me, I thought Sinner played fine, but nothing spectacular. I'd give it a 8 out of 10 and it was still enough to beat Novak in straight sets.

yup I thought that was maybe B / B+ Carrot, no true redline or steamroller mode. Nole fought hard and did try a bunch of things but it's just a bad matchup for him. He looked wistful walking off, as if he's thinking that might be it for Roland Garros.

It's still crazy to me that Djokovic is capable of getting to a semi finals and losing to a guy like Sinner.

I have three guys on tour that have a legitimate chance of defeating Novak in a big match. They are Sinner, Alcaraz, and Draper. Draper still needs to work on his endurance though.

Hell of a first set in the ladies final. Shaping up to be an exciting match.

I left after the first set as the day is too nice and went to play a little tennis myself. Happy to return and see that Coco was victorious, American women have taken the first two majors of 2025.

Aryna's game is the definition of live by the sword, die by the sword. It is remarkable that this match was as close as it was with her 70 UE count
How many slams does Coco have in her, being even younger than Carlos still?

I think she has a chance to get to 10, the women's game is in a great place currently, so many good players who will be challenging each other for grand slams.

Captain Obvious says Charlie needed that break of serve. Of course, now he needs to consolidate it.

He needs to consolidate just to survive the second. Still, Sinner is eerily calm.
Eta: second set 5 a piece. Now we got a stew going!

That shot to win the set is why the Carrot Calendar Slam is very much in play

Even though Charlie is down two sets to love, I still think he has a chance to win this match.
