Sabalenka appeared to hit an ace for a 5-1 lead in set 1, but it was called a let. It is now 4-4 in set 1.
Edit: That's the type of set that in the past Sabalenka would have dropped, but she's a much more polished player now and she takes it in a tie-break (7-1 was the tie-breaker score).

Iga takes set 2 6-4, but Aryna has zipped out to a 3-love lead in set 3.

Wow, I went to a meeting after Iga got bagelled , came back and Boisson already lost?

Yeah, it was a combination of Coco playing really well and Boisson hitting the wall physically (quick turnaround after playing yesterday).

Call me a crusty old man if you will, but it's tough to enjoy the tennis with you guys blabbing all the time.

Nope. I think Novac is going to get a healthy dose of next gen today. He may win a set but I don't see it going more than four sets.

Well, that's a shame, Musetti was playing great, but Charlie starting ramping things up and Lorenzo had no answers. Tough to see a retirement for Musetti though.

Yeah, I'm with you EE, Sinner reminds me a lot of Djokovic to be honest except he's much younger and hits harder. I think the only was Djokovic wins is if Sinner gets injured (which could happen).

I'd rather watch Djoker win 40 slams before witnessing McLottery hoist the cup once

this feels like it's going to be a very long match, lots of long rallies, lots of deuces, not many errors.

Novak is looking desperate pulling out the dropshots way too much.

Novak should just be trying to rip winners in the first four strokes of rallies when Sinner is serving. Novak won a whopping three points on Sinner's serve that first set, no need to waste energy, just go for broke and otherwise hold on for tiebreaks, only shot he has.
