Maybe he should have focused on running the ball instead of running his mouth.

The Argos have also released QB Cameron Dukes and DB Ciante Evans.

Well it's going to take a miracle to pull this one out.

there's a small part of me that wonders whether, other factors being equal, Carey's shots at a franchise where Dinwidddie had a lot of coaching success, and who then gave him the opportunity to leave for a head coaching gig may have swayed the decision somewhat.

I doubt it happens but Dave should be on the phone with Fletcher's agent. He'd form a great 1-2 in the backfield with Mills. There's also a couple of linebackers I'd be looking at.

These training camps are short and sometimes good players still shaking off rust fall through the cracks.

Stamps getting no love from 3DownNation in their pre-season power rankings despite some pretty good off-season moves as they are bottom of the table. Not that I put much stock in power rankings at the best of times, but you'd think that acquiring last season's consensus most outstanding player before he got hurt would have had some kind of impact.

Seems like at least one writer there has an axe to grind with DD. What can you say when they have a team at #1 who's sporting a first time starting QB that's a bit of an unknown as a starter and #9 is trotting out a QB that's been very productive when healthy? I guess only the NFL is a QB driven league?

Yeah, I think that's definitely the case based on some of the 3DownNation articles during the off-season. There is a lot of love for Mark Kilam and a lack of love for DD. All I know is that changes with both player talent and coaches were needed with the Stamps and I think it's safe to say that the player talent at key positions is much improved. Let's see if the coaches can get the most of that talent.

I honestly think that the Stamps will be a really strong second half team. I like what their offence is doing around Adams, I really like the defensive front 4. But the team is going to need time to come together.
I think Edmonton is going to be awful, I think the Riders are going to struggle. Their passing game structure looked piss poor.
I think BC will be decent and so will Winnipeg, though cracks in the foundation are forming.

Hard to type in a cast rn but like what CC said. 08 under huff the team had it all started slow 5-4 and finished 13-5 and won it all. Once they click I think they take off.
