Let's be honest, almost all of us with the slightest hockey knowledge knew Dallas was losing. They are the Maple Leafs west for a reason.

The real series begins next week.

Looks like the Dallas model doesn't work.

Jim Nill should hire Tortorella after that series performance.

True dat. None of us would have put down any serious coin on Dallas.

Well it's good to know you have more hockey knowledge then almost every media expert and former hockey player that picked the Stars to win this series lol.

Can honestly say as a Flames fan I’m much prouder, happier, and optimistic for the future than the fans of LA, Vegas and Dallas.

After their respective performances in this years playoffs looks like their trajectories are in the wrong direction.

Who picked the Stars? I have been crapping on them since their fluke round 1 win. I hate the division format, Colorado sucks against Dallas and they always match up early.

I think the Panthers series is a complete coin flip. It could go either way, and I'm going to be really upset if the Panthers lose.

It churns my stomach but the Oilers are just cruising. They look like a very disciplined, confident, hard working team. And they are getting literally all the bounces.

I hope the Panthers can drag them into a fight because the Oilers have had it very easy and will be tough to beat.

I knew after LA game 4 that this was gonna happen. I was so upset that night but have just been calmly observing since then.

TBH, it's not that they don't take penalty, it's that the refs are not calling them on the infraction they've committed.

It kinda feels like teams aren't interested in actually PLAYING against the Coilers, and just let them waltz around doing what the frack ever they want to. Ridiculous.

Otter was below average, but let’s be honest this team was bad.

Not just the lack of finish, but the Stars team defense was really poor.

The number of chances they gave up across the series was pathetic.

Slow, poor defense and below average goaltending, not going to get it done…

Call me a homer, but the Flames would have made it a much more competitive series.

You could have thrown a pee wee team out there and they would have beaten the Stars. This is who the Stars are. A bunch of losers.

We all know the pigs have no trouble scoring. By some miracle they are playing defense again and are getting average goaltending. And ‘depth’ scoring. Which means many different scorers, always assisted by one or both of tweedledum and tweedledee.
FFS Jeff Skinner scored tonight. Let that sink in Dallas.

I’ll say it. Stars are a fraud and the Flames made Oettinger look like a star.

Some really stupid coaching in the first three rounds. The LA challenge. And you pull your star goalie after only 2 goals in a conference final elimination game to ride Casey DeSmith?

Both coaches should be fired for those egregious moves.

I honestly thought the Stars will be a hard team to beat for the Oilers. Unfortunately, Dallas plays too soft and tried to beat the Oilers by their skill which didn't work.
And Dallas looked like a old slow team. I hope Conroy watched these games and adjusted his plan a little bit. Dallas need a real gamebreaker who can carry this team when the game matters. That's why I unrealistically want The Flames go to full rebuild and draft top 3 picks next 2 seasons.
San Jose and Anahiem know that the most important part to build a winning team is to find a couple great superstars and shamelessly sucking last 3 seasons.

It’s time for teams like Vegas and the Stars to step aside and for the Flames era to commence

I think Deboer will be fired after that game.
