LA was 2 stupid mistakes away from eliminating this team. Since then the Oilers have been on a 12-2 tear. Crazy how the tides just turned in their favour.

Dallas proving to be a waste of skin. What a gift for Edmonton that they had the miracle come back that knocked out Colorado. They neutralize the oilers strengths much better.

I’m not making excuses for Dallas at all. I was simply pointing out that Johnston is probably hurt because his play has fallen off a cliff

Well as I said after game 2, if Dallas comes out of this tied 2-2 after 4 games, they’ll be in good shape. They didn’t, so yeah, this is all but over.

The one thing that gives me hope is that this year’s playoffs is almost a mirror image of last year’s. Heading towards the same final. Oilers are inexplicably good in one area of their game that doesn’t make logistical sense (last year was the PK, this year it’s just generally been their defensive effort) and the first 3 rounds have seen teams either not show up or just give up against them after having them on the ropes.

Hopefully it ends up with the same result as last year.

It's annoying how it worked out. Colorado has a bunch of players who are winners and could have at least shown up.

Dallas is the biggest loser organization. Their players all suck in playoffs except Rantanen. Absolute no shows.
