Saying the Stars won't win another game is pretty unrealistic.

Do or die for the shrinking violet Stars.
Time to step up.

They may not even win a game next season too. Not even in exhibition! I think we need to pay attention to what the "pessimists" are saying. The Stars are a terrible team and they don't stand a chance.

Skinner will also get a shutout. Guaranteed.

I picked the Oilers in 5 before the series started so I'm sticking with it. Until the Stars win another game, they haven't and really the Oilers winning the next two games is very doable for them. We are talking about the Stars, not the Panthers here. We all want the Oilers to lose but the Stars simply aren't up to the task as it's all on the Panthers again.

They will lose the battle of the top lines, although they should make it a saw off with Rantanen but even he looks to be a hot and cold player.
The depth is what is now showing up, and when you have 1 star up front who is hot and cold like Rantanen it makes things difficult.
Playoffs are another beast. Dallas might be able to get away with this during the regular season but the playoffs teams gameplan for you and they never make adjustments. Just like when Sutter pretty much gave up vs Edmonton saying its too difficult to shadow and line match.

As posted earlier, the Stars just need to hit the net. The Oilers are just playing a minor league collapse defense, since they don't have the horses to play anything else without getting completely run over. Stars have been able to connect on passes around the net front collapse but aren't converting. They could also use some saves and to clear their crease, Oilers are just walking in and scoring on the door step.

Talk around social media last couple days is people saying nobody deserves a cup more than McDavid. Exactly why does he deserve a cup more than someone else. Yeah he's a good player but he definitely doesn't deserve one.

McDavid is a perennial loser and doesn't deserve anything.

The brainpower of the average person has reached record lows and they've been ingesting the suburban drive through fast food propaganda slop that is Rogers Sportsnet for too long.

The playoffs used to be so unpredictable. Can we get a curveball here for old times sakes?
Florida x3 and Edmonton x2 in the finals is getting a little vanilla.
But also it's a little ridiciulous that a team gets objectively worse/older/slower on paper after shedding young players and can still stroll right through the western conference.
No team appears to have pride or grit.

Same boring matchups, same boring results. I pray for 1v8 to come back.
Doesn’t help that Rantanen has predictably gone invisible vs the Oilers, he was their only X factor going in.
Maybe it’s best the Oilers just win the cup so McDavid can leave and we can move on from this annual nightmare.

Oettinger needs to steal a game tonight.
He can do it, but he needs to be better. In game 2 and 3 Skinner outplayed Oettinger and that's unacceptable lol.
For the first 40 minutes Skinner stole the Oilers game 3, now Oettinger needs to prove he's the better goalie and do the same tonight.

1 vs. 8 was great, never should've changed.
But i guess they wanted to force some in-division rivalries or something? It really hasn't pannned out how I'm sure they envisioned.
TOR/BOS for 6 years straight and LA/EDM for 4 has sucked intrigue right out of the first round.
