Has anyone heard Fat Donny say anything about the deaths from all the storms in Missouri, Kentucky, etc.?
I don't think he's made any comments on any deaths from natural disasters since he took office and no one appears ready to ask him about it, either.
The media has really dropped the ball, even more so recently.
Kimmel getting applauded for canceling Jake Tapper's appearance. He should have had him on, should have asked him why he's going no about Biden with what Trump is showing mentally.

Then run someone as far away from the establishment as possible next time, like AOC.
Good recipe to lose about 40 states.

Why? She's got an entire wing of the party to herself. The Bernie wing that some say should have won in 2016, so she's got financing. She's got name recognition, she would have to market her progressive views which aren't crazy.
The establishment side is splintered, who would the coalesce behind?

AOC has a wing of a party to herself because it is utterly unelectable outside that wing
In order to win the nomination she has to court the Jewish vote, how does she manage that and keep the progressive vote? answer = she can't
AOC is sort of like Poilievre in that she can be and is very effective in a particular role but is totally unsuited to be leading a national party in a major election.

Are Americans really center/center right? This generation? It's just that they've had two corporate parties to vote for so not much choice. And what's they gotten them? So progressive voters stay home.
I think voters want anti-establishment. Remember Trump is more regressive than AOC is progressive.
afc wimbledon does bring up a good point about Jewish voters and she's got 3 years to rectify that and the situation could change. There are Jewish people for peace. They were outraged about Oct 7 but they are also outraged about the response, the genocide going on.
Of course it depends on the campaign and messaging but I think she's well-positioned right now as progressives generate the energy in the Democratic Party. She's raising all the money, she's campaigning with Bernie, she's doing huge venues and she's messaging like Obama did.
Obama: "There's no red America, or Blue America, only the United States of America."
AOC: "There's no rural, urban, white, black or latino."

I think it'll be Tim Walz. White, male, under the radar progressive, great at messaging: his whole weird thing really had the GOP scrambling until the Democrats stupidly abandoned that theme.
If it's another establishment Dem that Pelosi or Schumer pick, they'll lose. They're going to have to overcome the thumb on the scale that the Trump administration and GOP states and county election boards will apply. The 2026 and 2028 elections are not going to be without "issues" since autocrats are extremely difficult to get rid of.

Lets be honest. In America, being a "socialist" seems to be even worse than being a "nazi". When Americans try to insult Canada as being too socialist, I honestly take that as a compliment. As a society, isn't socialism a good thing?
But not in the States. They've been brainwashed to think anything remotely for the common good is a bad thing, and goes against the American dream. AOC would get destroyed in an election IMO. They'd probably rather have Trump do a 3rd term than elect AOC.

Hillary and Kamala couldn't win, AOC would be a trainwreck I don't think you understand how many people hate her. She would get steamrolled.
Yeah, not only is she polarizing between Democrats and Republicans, but she is polarizing even within her own party. I doubt she could win the nomination, let alone the election if by some miracle she did.
For the past 100 years, Americans have been indoctrinated to reject and fear anything remotely seen as socialist ideology. It is so culturally ingrained in much of the country that if you have someone known for having a socialist platform, you are completely taking yourself out of the running in every swing state. Some of those states, and even some red states, might consider a Democrat, but one as left-leaning as AOC.... not any time in the near future.

That may be true in the past 100 years but who thought we'd ever get Trump if you looked at the previous 100 years.
Maybe there's a movement now. The numbers don't lie.
