I considered that, but my lazy ass went with copying his new variant. We'll see how long lazy Fuzz wins for. But I guess since you did it for me..in it goes!

If you replace Locke with Rick Bell, it’s just his real identity!

You want hotter? 2024 was the world’s warmest year on record.
https://www.noaa.gov/news/2024-was-w...year-on-record
The planet’s 10 warmest years since 1850 have all occurred in the past decade.
https://www.ncei.noaa.gov/news/global-climate-202504
April 2025 was 2.20°F (1.22°C) above the 20th-century baseline. This is 0.13°F (0.07°C) below the record-warm April of 2024, thus ranking second in the 1850–2025 period.

A little rain every week until July would be a much needed throw back.
Out by me all of the slews and ditches are still very dry, they would normally be full of water until June.
Our pasture grass was awful grim up until this week, we're hoping with a little heat things really start to grow.

And we know what lots of rain followed by high temps means in this part of the world… mosquito time!

Mild Take: I prefer 10C-20C over 20C-30C.

Wild take. Me too. Unless I'm on holiday.
30C sitting poolside or oceanside with someone bringing me cool refreshing drinks while I can escape to my air conditioned room?
Great.
30C when I have to mow my lawn? No thank you.

100%. I can't stand people like UCB that seemingly want the beauty of greenery and lack of forest fires without a single day that interrupts their ability to bake in the sun. Like how do they think things work, lol.

Yeah, I follow wetland issues closely and it's already dire this year in southern Alberta. We need some deluge type rains to get them ahead of the game for the usual hot, dry July/August. A lot of wetland animals rely on a good start to summer with a wet spring and they haven't gotten it yet
