Uh, they have the playoffs leading scorer...who wasn't on the team last year but panic if you like. Your math was also wrong they played 7 against the Avs.

If Ekholm is out you have to think the Stars have the edge in every category on paper. That said this is going to be a long series

Hoping for the best and they win, but they have had horseshoes uo their ass so far. Just sucks the Oilers keep drawing this Mickey Mouse path again…

I guess guys like Benn Duchene Seguin will have pals on the Oilers like Perry Henrique etc.
Mickey mouse path? lol wtf are you on about?

Go Stars!
The reason for the matinee start time, the NBA's ECF game is at 6:00 PM Mountain on TNT. The US Networks don't want to compete against each other on the weekend.

Oilers played a weak Kings team and a beat up and aged Vegas team. Dallas played the team with the two best players in hockey and then the Presidents Cup winner, with the probable Vézina winner.

The NHL would get steamrolled in a head to head, so it's more a case of one avoiding the other.

Hopefully a lot of these takes age like I think they will. Dallas is better in every area. Vegas looked like poo all playoffs. Oilers are worse than the Avs and Jets for sure. Oilers advanced with a 1-0 win vs Hill, Vegas missing stone, Vegas missed an EN and hit the post multiple times. Some of you act like they won 10-0 every game. Its the NHL anything can happen but I will say Stars in 6

I’d like to see statistics on overlap of fans that watch both hockey and basketball. Then the subset of them that would have interest in the specific playoff matchups of both sports for it to be a conflict. I suspect it would be a very small number.

I want to see Jason Robertson remember who he is and start sniping one per game.

Just get it done Stars.

Dallas has a pretty obnoxious fan base, I wouldn't be surprised if we see a lot of fight videos from the concourse in this series... but I also wouldn't be surprised if Oilers fans just keep fighting each other.

You dont hope those takes age poorly and the Oilers lose? You would cheer for the Oilers just to be right. Kings should have beat the Oilers they made a couple ridiculous errors in a game of inches. Vegas never got their playoff game going. IMO Dallas is playing well, no they didn't dominate but look at the competition.

Also, for someone who "has me on ignore" you sure quote me a lot

Remember, last year Dallas were playing 5 D with the 5th being Suter who got absolutely clowned. Then Tanev broke his leg and they got burned.

They have 7 guys they trust this playoffs, and with heiskanen getting 3 games in to knock off the rust and the emergence of Harley as a top pair guy, this d Corp looks good.

I hope Ekholm comes back mid series. It's going to take him 3 or 4 games to get up to speed at his age after a soft tissue injury... that won't work in the oilers favor.

Do we think Skinner/Pickard is going to outplay Oettinger again? Odds of that seem low.

This is going to be a close series, but anyone giving the oilers more than a 1/4 chance to win the cup right now is being foolish.

Every team that has made it this far thinks they're the team of destiny and something special. Let's see how this plays out. Stars in 6
