I like to use Gemstone's regular ground beef if I'm at the CFM.
Otherwise RCSS's medium ground beef.
Add about 1/2 cup water and some salt.
Mix very, very well.
Makes the best, juiciest patties.
I'm a heathen.

I see. So...when is beer, bread and burger night?
It wont be horribly awkward, although I can't promise that.

Lovely story. It's like an eighties teen movie, Long Duk Dong ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Long_Duk_Dong). And I love the Freudian slip there. Under our wing? Yours is better!

And it's funny their cold beer has been mentioned a couple of times. Couldn't agree more. I often don't drink beer with a meal because I just don't think food and beer go that well together (not including wings). At BPs, though? Their beer is magic. Love it.
Will check out Our Place. I think I might even be driving through Kimberley this summer...if so I'll absolutely go. There's no way I won't forget the name of it, though, so expect a PM in July at some point if we're there haha. I will be genuinely annoyed if the burger sucks, FYI.

If I’m on a road trip I’m either grabbing some fast food so I don’t have to stop too long (might as well power through) rather than stay and have some mediocre food.
If I have company, there job is to find a legit place in said town using a combination of Google, Reddit, and various sites. It works well at finding those small town gems.
Or I’ll go to the grocery store grab some charcuterie, sandwich materials, and find a cool spot to sit outside and eat.

Here's a diagram to illustrate one example of how a smart person does it versus how a dope does it:
Now...are you blocking the intersection? Maybe, but in a way that has to be done otherwise - during rush hour - nobody turning onto the main road would ever get through. You're not blocking opposing traffic, though, but this is how it must be done to prevent people from being trapped on a side road. The dopes in this scenario must be honked at or they freeze up and nobody gets home.

I had to read through the rest of the thread but this post absolutely did not get enough credit.
1. Clearly busted out the ruler to make sure the lines were tidy.
2. Multiple colours to direct the reader's eye to the important parts.
3. Masterful use of labels so even the savages or 'Dopes' amongst us could still understand. Is there a median? Where is the median? Oh, there it is, thanks Sliver!
4. Arrows. Arrows are so underutilized today, but he uses them very effectively to indicate direction and to add clarity to the labels. Fabulous.
5. He even adds the dip#### ####wad, who leaves excessive space betwixt himself and the car in front of them. An ode to a CP classic GG!
6. Finally, the sheer effort. This was not jotted off when he was outside for a fake smoke break. This took time. This took thought. This took Sliver.
Bravo.
And I left the diagram in the original size as an homage. You don't minimize an artiste.

Ever since being on a breathing machine and being virtually dead for six hours my taste buds have changed. Garlic is now all of a sudden the most disgusting flavour on earth. It tastes acrid. Everything has it. Like homeless dude bum hole flavour.
My tastes have totally changed. It’s depressing. Went to Barcelona and got the margarita pizza thinking it would be bland. Fataers put fresh garlic slices on each slice. Had one piece with discarded garlic but was disgusting. Want me to box that up for you? Fata no.

I'm unreasonably annoyed by the cursive "al" for Total. It's random, and doesn't match any other L in the diagram.

Alterations in taste and smell, including but not limited to anosmia, ageusia, hypogeusia, and dysgeusia, have been described in association with various medications, including anesthetic agents. Frequently, these symptoms occur 1-2 weeks after medication administration and last several months. While such a phenomenon is a rare occurrence, it nonetheless can significantly impact patients’ satisfaction and quality of life.

It was cute except the cherry-picked case where it would be fine to do that manoeuvre - so long as you don’t eff over the trucks going straight across or wanting to turn left, in the event the little cars are still stuck waiting for everyone to advance forward.
I guess we have to assume there are no advanced left turn traffic signals.

I was at an intersection just like this a few weeks back, and was one of those vehicles at the light waiting to go north. The lights further past this intersection were timed, in that the those left turners would clear when my light was green, but never fully cleared the intersection so I couldn't go. My light goes red, and the left turners proceed to clog up the intersection again. I went through 6 light cycles before giving up on going straight and just turning left to find a different route.
So if the left turners in your diagram can enter the intersection without the ability to clear, does that mean you are giving the okay for those proceeding straight north in the intersction to do the same, blocking the left turners?

Depends how many accounting stories you have about beer, bread and burgers and how you tell the stories, I guess?
