It won't happen...Dallas will be good for awhile. But I'd still like to know...like do they become unprotected in 27 and 29?
Yes they kick a year each

Wow the extremely rare Jaccob Slavin mistake. Next one might be in like January of 26. He's as solid as you get.

That goal was way offside. The NHL linesman are almost bad as the refs these days.

Offside challenges are the worst part of the NHL. Super annoying for fans to celebrate a goal only to follow with a delay and let down.

Need a video ref who can review as they happen and communicate with the on ice officials to blow the play dead.

My theory is since the offside reviews started linesman just let every close one go. They are afraid of mistakenly blowing an onside play dead while knowing they have replay to back them up if it’s actually offside.

I’ll be surprised if the Canes win tonight. Feels like they’ve squandered every opportunity and there have been a bunch

Svechnikov scores! It is 2-1 Hurricanes.
Hang on time for the final two minutes of regulation time.

And of course SN cuts away from the post game so we can watch Scott Oake and O Canada being sung in Winnipeg.

Carolina is the blueprint for just consistently building and trying to get better.

While also being shrewd with contracts and not being afraid to take some risks

Problem is they tend to struggle with those teams that pushed all their chips in but are consistently in the mix
