Well the first picture was definitely the grossest. It took me a while to comprehend just what I was looking at, but when I did... *shudders*

I do agree with you. I'm curious as to how you feel about the rodeo.

uhhh... cruelty to who? the bulls? pretty sure the only cruelty suffered is by the people who get gored, but they volunteered to run with the bulls. it's not like they are forced out there. although it might be a suitable punishment for cheering for the oilers.
it's not like bull fighting where they kill the bulls at the end is it?

The bulls are commonly injured during this as well actually.
Plus the bulls that run in the morning are used in bullfights the same evening.

I'm actually surprised PETA hasn't managed to have this thing shut down.

I doubt anyone takes PETA seriously anymore.
It's not really up to us outside of Spain to be trying to get it shut down. Gotta let the locals figure it out themselves.

The bulls are usually violentely killed after being tortured in the bullfights in the evening after the run. IE: bullfighters stab them with multiple spears over the course of the show and then shove a sword down their necks.

No kidding. I guess it's too far away for PETA to firebomb.
Anyways Spain restricted these type of events but the actual Running of the Bulls and bull fights have been allowed because of the tourism they bring in.
