Marner is still a great player he will do well elsewhere, Leafs just arent the right mix. Doesnt help when Matthews is MIA.

It's not like he did it on purpose. Injuries really destroyed his career. Was never the same goalie after.

Seems like a bad idea...why would Marner agree to that when he is about to be UFA anyway. Asking him probably just gave him more reason to go UFA.
