Even if he doesn't challenge the goal there's no guarantee they win that game but at least they would have had a chance to win it in regulation or OT as to me it was the pivot game in the series. I personally think the Kings are frauds not built to go deep into the playoffs so even 3-0 was very losable for them but wining one of the last four games would have been doable with the Oilers goaltending situation.
