The Guillotine was pretty brilliant.

"What do we do with the heads?"

Uhhh...have a basket?

"Brilliant!"

I think we have, but as a society I think the willingness of the opposing party has ebbed rather dramatically.

Monster Truck rallies will have a steady supply of these junk to crush for centuries.

I want to say at that insane stage show where the Cyber (Utterly Nerotic) Truck was launched (and idiot Musk decided the answer to a easily broken "bulletproof" window was to toss another ball bearing at it... breaking it again), they said it would cost 40k?

Does anyone recall if that's correct? 40k for a C-NT?

With this surge of inventory, maybe it actually hits that price point?

(edit - looks like it: https://www.capitalone.com/cars/lear...ybertruck/2885)

The company’s turbines — enough to power 280,000 homes — run without emission controls in an area that leads Tennessee in asthma hospitalizations.

https://www.politico.com/news/2025/0...rmits-00317582

Elon Musk’s artificial intelligence company is belching smog-forming pollution into an area of South Memphis that already leads the state in emergency department visits for asthma.

None of the 35 methane gas turbines that help power xAI’s massive supercomputer is equipped with pollution controls typically required by federal rules.
The company has no Clean Air Act permits.

How does such a large project skirt the EPA in the first place? It's like laws don't apply to this man and his businesses.

Musk had a bunch of ongoing government investigations against his companies, until he fired all those people in his DOGE rampage. I think the EPA investigations were among those he shut down. It was one of the more ridiculously corrupt things that this administration has done, with basically zero pushback from anyone.

So yeah, laws don't apply to him.

Well, unless the Trump administration turns on him, which frankly wouldn't surprise me.
