Oilers lose, Blue Jays win, and the Norman Blizzard beat Sudbury at the Centennial Cup in Calgary.
It was a good night for sports.

Sure...but all Skinner had to do was stay in his net. Instead, he went on a journey.

I actually don't dislike Skinner, other than him being an oiler. He's about 285% more likable than a guy like Mike Smith. Hoping he leaves edmonton and has massive success on another team (Eastern conference please) just to stick it to the grease pigs for throwing him under the bus.

Yeah as usual the mouth breathers up there have no clue about hockey or basic trigonometry or physics.
With under 3 seconds to go 98% of players shoot the puck in that spot so Skinner coming out to challenge is correct.
He also gave Smith no angle to shoot by coming out like that, even if Smith did go around him, as a secondary benefit.
Blame the German for lack of spatial awareness.

Excellent! And this is the first game I didn't watch even a second of (only watched a few minutes of the other games). So, no more tuning in for me at all.
