22 is a lot better than 29-32

For picking or trading. Besides Tanev>Tkachuk any day

I’m a big believer in Will’s potential but the fact that he’s taken over from backing up, his side to side movement is too much and he’s overcommitting. Florida is holding on for an extra second because they know his timing is off.

Great game so far. The hockey in this series just seems like it’s on another level compared to what we’ve seen in either of the Edmonton series. Same with game 1 of the Stars/Jets matchup.

Let's be blunt, the East this year is complete dog water. If the Leafs can't make the Finals this year it's never happening.

What is florida doing? Two leafs wins at home, fine. I thought this game would be 5-0 panthers by now. I just don't believe the leafs are 'the' team coming out of the east. Offense for days, sure, but what about them says elite defense and goaltending.

This series is really frustrating. It feels like every bounce is going the Leafs way at both ends of the ice.
I know that Florida hasn't played their best version of hockey in this series, but it has been brutally frustrating to watch every single decent chance go in for Toronto, and then they get a crazy double bounce like that.

For example...That should be an automatic goal for playing it with a broken stick but I don't think that's how the rule works.

Edit: oh hey! a break finally went our way!

Nothing that is elite, but they are big and tough on the back end now. Hard to get to the net against this group:

Rielly
Tanev
Carlo
McCabe
Ekman-Larsson
Benoit

they don't add much offense, but they take care of their own end alright. Forwards have committed to team defense for the most part as well under Berube.

I always wonder when players leave the bench and the media starts speculating (Tkachuk just now), how often do they just have to go number 1 or number 2? I know I've had to use the facilities once or twice during 1.5 hour shinny... Ask Sutter I guess.

Domi pulled Kulikov's arm onto him and held him, ended up with his arm wrapped around Domi's head. Refs missed that because Domi was the one who fell down as Kulikov was trying to get away.
 Sneaky bull####.

Those that want to break the bank on Marner can now see why he’s not a franchise player. He’s made some very lazy plays and giveaways. He can’t go through anyone and has to play perimeter hockey or deke. If that’s not working he isn’t grinding.
