This is the worst Jays team I have tried to watch in 25 years. Try being the word. So ####ing bad.

That's the 3rd late blown lead in the last 5 games. If watching the bats wasn't putrid enough now we have to deal with a ####ty pen again.

Jays are a minor league calibre team. I'd bet they'd lose bad to half the AAA baseball teams.

Minor league team, Major league payroll.

Yehhhh, just about. Perhaps the 2004 team was worse but that's very debatable.

Hoffman with two terrible outings in a row is no bueno. I really thought they had that one.

They've taxed their bullpen. Too many high leverage situations

Again, this is on Atkins. He’s had ample time to build and has had major shortcomings. Give it another month and pull the trigger. No point of getting rid of Schneider yet. Let the new GM make that determination.

I agree with this, but I think they will fire Schneider first. It is 100% not his fault. The team will probably get a dead cat bounce when/if they fire the manager, but I can't see it making that big of a difference.

The geniuses in the GM room tried to build a 1980's team in the 2020's and it's not working. Yes, teams run more, yes defense is important, but SLUGGING is the key to winning these days. The ability to break a game open, be threatening to opposing arms is the one thing that a team needs more than anything else.

Vladdy has always been streaky in terms of power, so I know he'll go off.

Santander has been notoriously bad in March and April his whole career. he will rebound.

Springer has had a good start, but that can't be expected to continue.

Bo has been listening to Buck Martinez and is trying to become a slap hitter (with completely diminished power and unexpectedly speed and base stealing ability). I think everyone is so focus on Vladdy's weight, Bo is OUT OF SHAPE.

Varsho will run into one every now and again between flailing at pitches in the zone for a week.

Then we have a bunch of no power, supposed contact guys and guys like Barger who may as well close his eyes when he swings and just hopes to launch one...but is bad at it.

The fact Atkins wasnt let go in the offseason tells me he has some kind of immunity and will be here forever. Or until Shapiro is gone.

Schneider will be the first to go for sure.

Strange that it's a night game today when they are travelling to Seattle for a game tomorrow. Usually that prompts a day game.

The team actually got 12 hits last night, which is is good. But couldn't get runners home, again. And hit into 2 costly double plays.

Also 8 SO to only 2 BB. 8 SO not so bad but only 2 BB making Angels pitchers look way better then they are.

And really it should have been 3 double plays if the Angel's 2B knew how many outs there were - he soft tossed a double play ball to 1st when there was one out.

I actually think the bats lost the game in the 7th (I know they scored 3 runs but hear me out). When Vladdy came up there were runners on 1st/2nd and no outs. Vladdy, Santander, and Springer then went down 1/2/3 strike-out, groundout (That should have been a double play ball) and strike-out.

The 2/3/4 hitters need to get at least 1 run when there's a runner in scoring position and zero outs.

Farm is better than ppl think.... keep saying this. Fact is prospects don't come up right away we traded prospects earlier to compete. Now they will come cuz we have some depth i feel. Yesavage Stephen's look ok. Nimalla Rojas Perez maroudis tiedeman. Arms are coming. I could go on.

There is some plan we need patience

What's extra annoying is that the division is pretty weak this year and prime for the taking. The Yanks would be a bottom feeder without Judge. Boston's pitching is garbage. The Orioles have taken a huge step back and look like a shell of their offensive shelf. And the Rays finally seem to be running out of their magic. Like, if the Jays didn't blow those 3 late inning games they would be half a game out. Just complete ineptitude from Atkins to have all this cash to spend and cant take advantage. Just an awful GM.
