What bugs me is all of the cap and IR shenanigans are forgotten and basically, the home ice is with grease pigs now, negating third place. I’m hoping that the NHL has a real good look at this, but it’s unlikely. Bringing players back for one game and letting them rest before and after.

I heard an interview with bettman on one of the intermissions on the Vegas feed, and it doesn’t sound like there is any way that the playoff format will change.

Low energy building felt like a regular season game

I expect Vegas to win tonight; greasy pigs got their split and it’s not Vegas “must win”…although moving towards more difficult if Vegas doesn’t win tonight. Win tonight though and get at least a split in greaserville and Vegas looks better.
