I think people evaluate insiders by how "right" they are, meaning how often do the things they same come true.
Which is silly. Because just because something doesn't happen doesn't mean that those things weren't being discussed.

Saying he "makes up things 80% of the time" is a pretty extreme (and uninformed) accusation.

There are crappy hockey columnist to be sure (such as Staples) but the constant complaining about most of them is a bit much.

He's a bulldog when backed into a corner. But in his line of business, he probably has to be in order to survive.

Seeing him get hot under the collar for his poor takes belittling the alberta rivalry on Barn Burner is admittedly still satisfying. In that instance, he was clearly on the losing end.

Frank just really didn't seem like a great fit as a regular guest on BB, definitely prefer the other guys like Noodles and Dreger who just come off as more willing to talk Flames with the boys, whereas Frank would just play devils advocate on every opinion they had on the team.

I hope this means we get to hear more of Jeff Marek on the show.

Frank Seravalli is just a tone deaf clown. His defence of Wayne Gretzky lately, his bizarre tweet about Gaudreau in his season predictions, his nonsense leaking of the expansion draft lotteries. The guy has zero integrity . Most NHL insiders knew or had some knowledge about players that Seattle was taking but Seravelli was in a such a rush to prove himself as having information what he leaked the info.

Now he's tweeting about building the Daily Faceoff?

Like the aforementioned David Staples, if they're good they're good, and if they're bad they're bad. People on this site whine about the media, coaches, players, etc etc. That's hardly something we as Flames fans hold a monopoly on. David Staples is trash.. so are a lot of other guys.

Listen carefully when Steinberg has Frank on his show and you can tell the lack of “warmth”, for lack of a better word. And Steinberg likes everybody.

I stopped watching Barn Burner because whenever I did there was Frank and I just didn't like his attitude. I had no idea that he wasn't on the show anymore. I think I'll start checking it out again!

Dregs is good, but is he really an insider like Frank or Elliotte? Noodles is not an insider, but a fantastic regular guest for sure.

You didn't read what I said. Anytime I watched Frank was there. I got tired of seeing Frank so I just didn't bother trying to watch. I don't have the time to watch it daily, I guess it just happened that when I decided to check it out it was Frank and I just didn't like listening to him. Sorry for not liking Frank and not having all the time to consume every last second of all the contents.

Going forward I'm not going to watch every last second of their podcast either but I'm more likely to check out a few episodes.
