Frank was such an Oilers fanboy and hyper critical of the Flames a few years ago. It irritated me that he was brought on as a guest on Calgary Flames show so often just so he could praise the Oilers and slam the Flames. He seemed to tone it down after Darryl Sutter left, and I think a part of it was how Darryl interacted with the media and Frank being a member of the media. I recall in one show, even Boomer was like, OK Frank we get it, but can we get over it.
Having said that, Seravalli does say some interesting things and I have no doubt that he works hard as an insider. He has a certain level of fame in the hockey world with all the appearance he makes and his social media presence. Fans in all 32 markets know who he is for sure. It probably makes sense for him to capitalize on that now and see what opportunities are out there. I respect what he does even if I don't always like what he says. He's probably a nice guy.

Always struck me as extremely arrogant. This view tracks whenever somebody refers to themselves as “a brand”.
Dude does not like the Flames, it’s obvious, and I was always very confused why media in this city would trip over themselves to give him airtime. I’m not even talking necessarily about what he said as I can handle negative commentary on the Flames, but in how he did it.

Interesting to see where Frank ends up and if DFO is able to court another insider from one of the major networks.
Frank was not my fav but typically I like to listen when he, Friedman, Dreger etc are talking about the Flames.
