You need better insulation, 19°c @ 11 am here.

Probably. Big roof (bungalow) with dark shingles and likely minimum code insulation up there.

Man we need some heavy moisture in the forecast or its going to be a rough summer for smoke.
Went out to Banff on Saturday and its already at High fire danger rating. I dont recall seeing it that high before this early into the season.

I'm already in the mode of 'check long range forecast in the morning; any rain in the forecase? If yes, what is POP? (needs to be at least 60%) Then track the day there is suppose to be rain as that day get closer hoping it does not change to no rain and/or POP staying the same or even increasing'.
It adds an element of anxiety in the morning. Smoke is horrible for my mental health which is already fragile as is.
No rain in the forecast as it stands now, this morning showed 60% for May 11, now nothing.

I'm getting my studded, new winter tires changed out tomorrow. My apologies for the guaranteed May Long dump we're going to get now.

I gotta start using as much water ASAP to flood and give my plants a head start for growing into summer. Not expecting the same level of water restrictions as last year, but I still assume there might be some restrictions sooner or later.
Hmm... and I need to find that down spout cleaning nozzle and give it a go to clear out the dirt, leaves and sticks inside. I didn't get a chance to try it out last year because of the water restrictions.
Huh... and there's a cheaper version for $15 at many of y'all's favourite underrated store. I guess mine is called a jetter kit just has extra attachments and hoses and stuff. Still seems reasonable to me.

Thank god, listening to people drive around on studded tires awful. Getting gas the other day and two drove by, I felt embarrassed for them.

Yeah I don't like the sound either. But things you must do when you just moved to seemingly the steepest street in the city (Bankview) and it's street parking...and at the bottom of the street is 17th Ave

Haha, that picture on the Princess Auto website is awesome. Five crossovers to get from the nozzle to the hose!

Looking at that review image from Princess Auto, I'd say it's totally worth the extra for the 50ft hose and 5 additional attachments. For a moment, I thought it was a mop handle with the mop head ripped off.
I paid $50 for this kit last year. Seemed like a low risk purchase. I just need to find it and give it a whirl.

Which brings this around full circle, because I presume everyone else in the bar was thinking "I wish they were hotter."

Are you able to access the gutters from top or did you go in from the bottom? If the bottom there wasn't an issue with the hose trying to push itself back out from the pressure?

From the bottom of the spout. The way the water jets are positioned, it propels the jetter forward through the spout. It's not like doing a dryer duct cleaning where the poles occasionally try and shoot back out like the cattle bolt gun from no country for old men.
If anything, I occasionally have to pull the hose back like gently pulling on a leash if the jetter snags on something or is too far to the side on an ill fitted connector piece to continue forward.
