Hell, Kenney started out demonizing gay people and vilifying abortion rights, to no real political end.

He's almost identical to PP. A career politico with no job experience outside of politics.

As a goat farmer, I can confirm that goats are just as easily scared, and totally clueless as Theo Fleury.

Are you a goat farmer for real? Off topic but always looking for some goat/lamb myself.

If so, I can PM.

He stood up to them and followed the minimum amount of Hinshae regulation, passed vaccine requirements and eventually lost his job because of it

Two headlines...

This past December, the government rejected a $240,000 proposal to resume public orthopedic surgeries at Edmonton's Royal Alexandra hospital. The surgical backlog affects over 1000 patients.

Today, Alberta’s government is defending a hefty $280,000 bill to replace the carpet in Premier Danielle Smith’s office.

I’m on team Carpet is stupid to complain about. If you operate a historic building it should be maintained as a historic building and the government should not be involved in any of the decisions on it.

I'm assuming that they go barefoot, on full shag rug, in there. To prepare for the extra six months that the UCP are going to be in power, so that the MPs can personally oversee the firefighting season, at the end of their term.

Have to protect those toesies, for forest fire fighting, that they are going to physically do. For six months. Have to delay the election. It all makes sense now. Rugs.

Looking at the priorities shows how captured Albertans are by the oil industry.

That is a really weird way of phrasing that.

If you have a different view, as to how to separate Canada from trade and energy reliance on the US, while at the same time securing our own energy self dependence, as well as supporting Europe in a very unstable time.....

please let us know a better plan than an East-West pipeline.

I do wonder if the results of that poll would be any different than two years ago.

Mr. Global, a very popular TikTok influencer who's in the oil and gas business, said that Monday is going to be a bad day for oil. Something about OPEC releasing more supply.

The first step is potentially happening soon.

Quote:
Alberta’s New Democrats are set to vote today on whether or not to allow new members to opt out of joining the federal NDP.

For the provincial party, automatic membership in its federal counterpart has long been seen as a political albatross.

Alberta NDP Leader Naheed Nenshi has questioned the value of those membership ties, and promised last year to put the issue on a ballot.

Getting some separation form the federal party is going to be a lot easier after the poor showing and while there is no leader. Now ids the time to do it. I don't expect a huge a mount of push back, but I'm not familiar with the hardcore Alberta NDPers.

Cool, now idiots are going to scare off tourists. Stunning leadership on display, while they want to vastly expand tourism, and have our minister of forests and parks off generating tourist dollars for his personal company, they kinda forgot that tourists may not like to visit plaugeburgs.
